As I got a month left to join Wipro, I came to blr to spend a few days at my aunt’s place. This trip came to me as surprise because nothing was planned earlier and decided to come here at the last moment. But I was quite a bit unhappy for one reason. My dearest friend’s birthday falls on this Wednesday. I will not be able to celebrate it with her. I guess I will be staying here for a week’s time and then I’ll be back to “Namma Chennai”.

Hi friends…. Am so happy that I got my call letter atlast. Its on 29th of September. I don’t know if its my good time or bad time, I got both my training and posting in Chennai itself. Exactly a month to go. Am worried about killing time one more month. But I got a few works to be done before I join. So guess it won’t be that boring as all these days were. Looking forward to be a part of Wipro soon!!!!!

It was Srilanka who took up the batting field first in todays match. I think our Indian bowlers bowled really well and bundled them up in just 38.3overs with a score of 142. Zaheer Khan (4/21) and Praveen kumar(3/24) were the ones who ripped through Srilanka’s batting.

When India took up batting the match went critical Mahendra Singh Dhoni(39) played a pivotal role as he batted cautiously to help his team.Dhoni was quite content in curbing his natural strokeplay and kept the scoreboard moving and found good support from Badrinath who looked quite composed at the middle. This combo took india to the victory ground and India won Srilanka by 3 wickets.

Its Raksha Bandhan today and it is a day for all sisters to show their affection for their brother and pray for their well being. And like any other sister, I celebrated the day with my brother. I tied him Rakhi and gave him a nice card. Then I was waiting for him to give me any gift. (I planned to get back atleast the money I spent for the card and Rakhi) But he dint get me anything, not even an aasai chocolate. Finally all he could get was only a 10-rupee top up card. Though he spent less time with me at home, I had a great time with him. He’s really a perfect brother, caring, fighting, sharing, scolding, loving, troubling, sweeeeeeeeet brother. Happy to have him as my brother. I wish him all good luck and best of everything in life. Love you my dear brother!!!!!!!!!

Like most of the freshers am a poor soul waiting for Date Of Joining. We were informed that we would be called in the month of September. Also we called up our company and they also confirmed this information. Yesterday night around 11, when was I writing reviews, UK, the BIG BRAIN came online in gtalk. His status message was “Got My DOJ”. I thought he must be dreaming at that time of night. He said he really got a mail informing the DOJ. I thought he was bluffing as usual. But he sent me a picture file and asked to open it and see. To my surprise, it was a screen shot of his mail from Wipro with DOJ mentioned as 12th September 2008. I felt this guy is no more joking. Also he added he got it a few minutes back. So as everyone would be, I was very curious and started refreshing my inbox every second.

After sometime, I told him I dint get any mail. He replied that I wont get… Whatttttttt???? Then he told me it was a fake mail created by him. I got really angry, felt like kicking him. Then I signing out and went to bed. I believed it to such an extent that I had dreams of me joining Wipro. He din’t stop with me. Today also he was fooling people around. Enaaa Kodumai Sir Idhu!!!!!!!!!!!!

Vishal’s new film Sathyam is releasing today, in which he comes as a police officer. The stunt scene and car chase will be the highlight of the film. This is the 25th film for music director Harris Jayaraj. Nayanthara is playing a news reporter role. This is a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu. In Telugu the title is Salute. I liked this line very much which appears at the top of Barack Obama’s website. I am not aware of the politics there or whether Obama would be a good leader. But his speech and words are really inspiring people. We all know he has said there will be no outsourcing and Americans will only be given importance to ensure their rights are protected. I don’t know how far it will work out, as its a known fact that America survives mainly because of Indians and Russians. Anyways I like his attitude, nationalism, the way he talks and his approach.

And that’s what you will get in Beijing August 8 at 8:00 pm, 8 minutes and 8 seconds, which is at 17.38 IST It will be a 90 minute show featuring 14,000 performers. You may also find it interesting to know that China had prepared for the Games for 10 years.

The Beijing National Stadium where the opening ceremony will be held is built in shape of a bird’s nest. The Construction of the venue began on December 24, 2003. This will be the site of the opening and closing ceremonies, as well as the athletics events and soccer finals. The design of the stadium is really amazing and it is designed to seat 90,000 people.
